Data You Give Us Directly
Search entries. Review the privacy terms before entering a search. Search terms sent through a third-party box go to that provider for processing. This policy explains what the site itself collects, how contact messages are handled, and where outside services may receive data. The site does not keep official warrant searches or court files. For a record question, contact the court named on the notice or the Sheriff’s Warrant Division. Read the policy before sending details. Use an official office for case-specific help.
Messages. If you email us, we retain the message and reply details so we can answer. We do not share that correspondence outside our organization unless a valid legal duty requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, basic technical information may be recorded, including the device’s IP address, browser and version, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent, referral source, and visit timestamps.
Cookies and analytics. Cookies are small files stored by a browser. They help measure aggregate traffic and show which pages are used. Analytics services may process those totals. Browser controls can block cookies, though some site functions may then behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
Information described in this policy supports ordinary site operations. We use it to:
- Keep pages available and improve load speed.
- Send a search request to the partner that operates the tool.
- See which material is useful and where revisions are needed.
- Find and repair technical problems.
- Show advertising that may reflect general browsing interests.
No Warrant Data on File
McLennan County Warrant Records does not host, build, or sell a database of warrant entries or personal warrant histories. The site explains where county files are held, including the Sheriff’s Warrant Division, the District Clerk Criminal Division, and the court contacts on the JP Court Information page.
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes are operated by outside providers. Information entered in those tools is handled under the provider’s privacy terms, not this policy. A provider decides its own retention, sharing, and security practices.
Read the partner’s policy before sending it a name, date of birth, or other personal details. We cannot change or manage data held by that company.
Links to Other Websites
McLennan County Warrant Records links to county and city offices, court portals, Texas agencies, legal aid resources, and outside search tools. Opening one of those services takes the visitor to a different operator and its own privacy rules.
Advertising partners may use their systems to measure activity across sites. Review each destination’s terms before submitting personal information.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Depending on how a feature is used, data may be handled by:
- A search provider receiving a query submitted to its tool.
- Analytics services measuring traffic and page performance.
- Advertising networks placing or measuring ads.
- A government body responding to a valid legal order.
Those providers operate under their own policies and technical controls.
How We Protect Your Data
We use ordinary security practices to protect the information we hold. Internet systems cannot be guaranteed free from every breach or failure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Do not email sensitive identifiers unless an official court or agency specifically needs them. This website is not the record system for a McLennan County court.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal details from a person under 18. If we learn that a minor has sent us personal information, we will remove it from our records as promptly as possible.
Adult public-search procedures do not apply to juvenile arrest-warrant records, which Texas Family Code §58.010 protects.
Your Data Rights
You may ask us what visitor information we hold, request a correction or deletion, and opt out of certain advertising or analytics uses where those controls are available. We will review a request and explain any limit on what we can remove.
The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, governs access to many records held by Texas government bodies. It concerns government records, not private visitor data stored by this website.
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy when site features or data practices change. The newest text will appear here with a new effective date. Review it again before using a search feature if privacy terms matter to you.
Effective date: September 23, 2026.
